Me and Ben's Story
By Sunflower 12/12/2008Me and Ben met at school in January. We had both just gotten out of a sticky relationship with other people. So needless to say we were kind of scared to try for someone else. But of course God would have none of that. So we tried it. We were nervous and scared. But we hit it off. And soon we were talking non-stop, and hanging out, and going out. He never asked me to be his girlfriend or anything....we both just knew. But 3 months later I had to leave to come to Arkansas. I had to register for college and move into my apartment. And Ben stayed on the phone with me that first night I was here. I didn't think me and Ben would go out very long. Like the normal teenage relationship. Go out about 2 months, get bored, break up. But now we've been together almost 10 months and 7 of those months we've been apart. We get to see each other every other month, sometimes every month if we're lucky. And I'm happy for that. I know others aren't so lucky. Despite the distance, I love him very much, and we're going strong. =)
