He remembered… to the minute

Last night was me and my boyfriends anniversary. He’s been busy with his band and work lately so we haven’t been able to talk much so I’ve been really down and he knew that.

So last night he IM’d me and told me he needed to talk to me about something. My heart started beating faster and faster and i was bracing myself for him to dump me but instead he told me he felt horrible that he’s been so busy and hasn’t been able to talk to me much and he loved me so much and missed me more than anything. I was so happy and told him it was fine and we talked for about an hour then out of no where he stopped talking and i was worried. 30 minutes later he sent me an IM that said,

“Happy anniversary to the minute baby girl. I love you more than anything.”

I was so surprised he remembered our anniversary to the minute.

He also told me he was going to come visit me and go to the parade of lights this weekend.
The parade of lights is a parade of floats that are decorated so beautifully with gorgeous lights and he knew how much it would mean to me that he be there with me.

He’s the most amazing boyfriend ever. I love him so much

Unexpected Gift

My boyfriend and I weren’t getting along. The fact that he lived thousands of miles away, was finally getting to me. I hated myself for being so upset and cranky all the time with him. In the past, our relationship was always full of love and he was always there to make me feel better.

Maybe I was getting so upset all of a sudden because I knew i would have to wait another year to see him. I started pushing him away and doing that only hurt him and I. I loved my boyfriend and I knew I did not want him out of my life, but i had no idea how to let this ache go.

One day, Jordan asked me whats wrong and I finally broke down and I told him the truth. I told him I needed some assurance. I needed to touch him so how, I needed to smell him somehow.

About a week later, I received a letter from fedex, stating I received a package that I needed to pick up. When I went and got the package, I discovered it was from my boyfriend. I opened it and I found a stuffed teddy, his hoodie which smelled like his cologne and a little gold heart shaped necklace. The note he wrote to me said “This is the best I can do for now You are my one and only - Jordan” I started crying and I instantly, I let the ache go.

Well this one night my boyfriends cousin Mike and I were having a pretty involved conversation about him (because we were worried about him at the time) and I said something like, “Yeah, well it may sound weird to you but I dont just love him, I need him,” and Mike said, “Well, I think Josh needs you more then you need him because he told me that you’re the most important person in the world to him.” I just went silent I was just awestruck and thought it was nice hearing that come from his cousin, that he’d tell him that.

But what really got me was when 3 days later we finally got some valuable time together. We were lying down before bed and cuddling and holding him close he softly whispers, “Babe you’re the most important thing in the world to me.”

It was just the sweetest thing and I knew he really meant it too.

A contract

My hunny is in the US army. When he went out for AIT, we weren’t able to talk on the phone or by computer, so we wrote letters for each other =] One day, he wrote a contract for me with his messy handwritting. lol. It sounded like a marriage vow and he put his signature on it with date and print so it looked like an official contract.

I smile when I read it. I think its a very sweet and silly of him. But I love his silly part as much as I love his sweet part. I simply love him <33 he's d'best for me.

He drove to be at my side

A few days ago, I ended up going into hospital, and being diagnosed with another illness (that’s number 2 on the semi serious list :@) I felt really low, and although my bf was coming over for the weekend, I couldn’t find the urge to fight the pain. Then my mum rang him at midnight (he knew I was in the hospital and was waiting till he knew what was happening) to ask him to come over, I was so relieved she’d asked him, but expected him to cop out because of work, but he didn’t.

Next thing I knew he was on his way, with an ETA of 5am, he drove for 4 hours through the night, with no sleep, to come to me because he knew I needed him. He simply is the best.

Things had been rough between my boyfriend and I over the weekend. He had been on leave from the Marines for the weekend and had stood me up until Sunday night. Soon we were inseparable. There are so many texts that I could tell about that made me so happy but there are two that stand out the most to me:

“I do cause I can’t be there for you, I can’t be with you, I can’t do anything from here except love you, and that’s what I’m going to do.”

“The only thing that’s ever made me this comfortable and content and just overall happy with life is when I found God, and now that I know I have one of his angels to protect me I feel even better. :)”

He is the sweetest boy in the world and I can’t wait to spend every moment with him good and bad.

I will never forget this moment.

One Sunday evening, my boyfriend and I were talkin’ via IM, as we often do, while I was relaxing in my dorm room at college. We had been talking for hours, and out of nowhere he puts the ” =/ ” face and says that he’s scared about something but needs to tell me. I immediately felt my heart pound harder, as I thought he was going to break up with me. I then ask him what is it that he needs to say. He then says, “baby, i love you.” and also tells me that he has been dying to tell me but was too scared.

That moment was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done. It really made my night. I felt as if I was on cloud nine. Since then our love has only grown stronger and is still growing. I love him so much.

A heartfelt text

I was out at a local pub for a friend’s birthday celebration. This was one of the first times I would miss my bf’s nightly online video chat. Feeling bad that he couldn’t be at the party with me, and missing him greatly… I started to text him.

Throughout our texts, I ended up sending him a cheesy ‘Marry me one day?”… and his response was:

“I’d like to marry you for more than just one day, hopefully forever”

I still have the text saved on my phone and always will. It is truly the sweetest thing I have ever been told! Lets just hope it comes true

With both me and my boyfriend in our last year of high school we often get tired and burnt out quickly now a days. I can handle not getting much sleep but my boyfriend is not one who can function well without it. In light of this, Nik began to go to bed at 9 o’clock. Causing our phone calls to end at about that time every night.

One night, when I was at my fathers house, we started our normal nightly call later than usual because I had to study for a huge college prep government test I had the next day that was giving me major anxiety. Through the whole phone call, Nik tried his best to cheer me up by cutely teasing me, telling me how he loved me and stuff like that. Our call was soon interrupted by my father telling me that I needed to cut our call short because I needed to study more. Nik knew how upset and disappointed I was about this and I asked him to text me until he went to sleep at 9. He promised he would.

I laid in my bed studying and got a text every so often from him until it was 9 and I then sent him a text saying goodnight which he replied to saying goodnight as well. I then put the phone down to continue studying thinking he was now asleep. A few minutes after, I got another text from him saying he loved me, which I replied back to. Soon after he texted me again, and then once again with cute little messages. Confused as to why he wasn’t sleeping yet, I asked if he was ok. He texted that he was and I said I was glad and good night again. He then said goodnight back. But he didn’t stop texting and I soon figured that he was up to something when I got a message saying “A random text of love to my Nichole.” I asked him why he was staying up so late, it now being 9:40 and I simply go this back.

“I want to make you happy”

He stayed up texting me for an hour while I studied even though I knew he was exhausted and would have gladly passed out any moment. He didn’t stop texting me, even when I asked him to go to sleep and not stay up with me, until I swore I was done studying and was now going to sleep. It was one of the sweetest things he has ever done for me and it made my miserable night studying a night I’ll never forget.

Before going to sleep, I always talk to my boyfriend. He’s the last person I talk to at night, and first to kiss in the morning. He once called me around 5 am, I picked up but I fell asleep again. I woke up at 6 am and he was still on the phone waiting for me!….not even my mom would do that! That day I knew that I meant so much for him!
